Foster homes are always needed!
Who Are We?
Georgetown Dog Rescue is a collaborative
effort between Georgetown Animal
Outreach (501c3) and local shelters -
Williamson County Regional Shelter and
No-Kill Wilco. We "pull" dogs from local
shelters and they become GAO dogs until
we find them appropriate, forever homes.
Georgetown is 20 miles north of Austin, in
central Texas.
We are committed to finding permanent,
loving, responsible homes for dogs. We are
all volunteers.
Meet Annie! Se's a
wonderful American
bulldog mix who has
been looking for a
permanent home for
too long. See more
about her on our
adoptable dogs page.
Tiny - a symbol of the fact that we
never give up on a dog or a cat in
our foster program!
Sarah is a lovely one-year old
catahoula mix. She's good with cats,
other dogs and children. See more
information on our adoptable dogs
page.
These are two of Millie's lovely pups. See
more about her and these seven beautiful
babies! All will be ready to go to
foster-to-adopt homes in mid-December.
THESE BABIES ARE ADOPTED!!
Raina and Star are
senior gals who are a
bonded pair - consider
taking these two girls
home together for the
holidays.
George is a special boy with
a sweet smile. He loves
children and walks and
cuddling. He really needs to
be in a home without other
dogs - he wants you all to
himself! George is just 1 so
is over his wild puppy days,
but has lots of energy for
good walks and playtime.
