Foster homes are always needed!
Who Are We?
Georgetown Dog Rescue is a collaborative
effort between Georgetown Animal
Outreach (501c3) and local shelters -
Williamson County Regional Shelter and
No-Kill Wilco. We "pull" dogs from local
shelters and they become GAO dogs until
we find them appropriate, forever homes.

Georgetown is 20 miles north of Austin, in
central Texas.

We are committed to finding permanent,
loving, responsible homes for dogs. We are
all volunteers.
Meet Ari! Se's a wonderful
pointer-lab type gal who has
been waiting a long time for
a home. See more
information about her at
Tiny - a symbol of the fact that we
never give up on a dog or a cat in
our foster program!
Mojo is a total gem. He's got a cute
squishy, kiss me face, loves people
and is pretty chilled. He'd be best as
an only dog, but he'll fill your heart
Diesel has been with GAO
for over two years. He's
patiently waiting for his
forever home and would
love to meet you. He's
about 2 1/2 years old, is a
gentle boy and needs to be
given a chance by
someone. We love this boy!
Thanks to the commitment of one of our
great volunteers, Star and Raina found a
forever home together!
Honey is less than 10 pounds, but
she is full of awesome personality. If
you want a new little lovebug in your
life, consider this angel.
