Foster homes are always needed!
Who Are We?
Georgetown Dog Rescue is a collaborative
effort between Georgetown Animal
Outreach (501c3) and local shelters -
Williamson County Regional Shelter and
No-Kill Wilco. We "pull" dogs from local
shelters and they become GAO dogs until
we find them appropriate, forever homes.

Georgetown is 20 miles north of Austin, in
central Texas.

We are committed to finding permanent,
loving, responsible homes for dogs. We are
all volunteers.
Meet Annie! Se's a
wonderful American
bulldog mix who has
been looking for a
permanent home for
too long. See more
about her on our
adoptable dogs page.
Tiny - a symbol of the fact that we
never give up on a dog or a cat in
our foster program!
Have you ever seen a cuter pair! Herra
and Precious have lived their whole
lives together, so we're not about to
separate them now. If you want two -
what could be better - new babies,
consider these easy, loving sisters.
George is a special boy with
a sweet smile. He loves
children and walks and
cuddling. He really needs to
be in a home without other
dogs - he wants you all to
himself! George is just 1 so
is over his wild puppy days,
but has lots of energy for
good walks and playtime.
Thanks to the commitment of one of our
great volunteers, Star and Raina found a
forever home together!
Honey is less than 10 pounds, but
she is full of awesome personality. If
you want a new little lovebug in your
life, consider this angel.
